Pseudonym: bigdaddy Good_PointsThe best part of this class is the light switches. You would never have known how closely light switches and computers are related. I know why and how error messages occur and what a computer made of (light switches). This course is very cool it teaches you alot about the work of a computer and how it operates and the decimal, octal, hexidecimal,and binary nmbers and how the computer interprets language. Bad_PointsThe walking back and forth was the only problem in the course. The test could probably be more multiple choice and fill in the blank. Also, keep the spreadsheet updated so students will know by the beginning of the week where they stand. WebisteCommentsUpdate the spreadsheet by the beginning of the week. Make some of the test multiple choice.

Mr. Kirs is also very good at keeping his office hours, when ever I need something I go to him for help. The lecturs are very informative. Bad_PointsThe posting of the grades take a long time to be posted. Many of the students are concerd for their grades. Also the class schedule needs to be updated more. More lab time for the students. WebisteCommentsThe posting of the grades need to be updated more at least every 2 weaks. The powerpoints need a little revising. Stay more up to date please.

It was not that bad. Also how much you know about this stuff is amazing you are intelligent. Bad_PointsDoing the second part of the project and the rest of them. It drove me crazy. WebisteCommentsI think UTEP should have a class for CIS students to go in and do more hands on work with these courses so we can get more of an idea of how to use it and unserstand it more clearer. UTEP needs more hands on for students instead of more lecture.

It also teaches you about the computer and how it works and its very interesting. Bad_PointsThe only part I didnt like about the course was his pacing back and forth across the floor.
