SP2008 Student Final Comments [Home Page] [Web Navigation] [(In)FAQs] [Class Schedule] [Textbook] [Lecture Slides] [Additional Coverage] [Supplementary Material] [Evaluation Areas] [Course Submissions] [Student Information] Pseudonym: gaseld Good_Pointstha best part of tha classe is that some times i feel that learn too mucho and some others thinking that i dont understand the class may be because there are many little thing that i need take care of Bad_Pointstah ugly part is that we donat practice with a computer in class , when i go to tha cimputer lab to tray to do a project i get confuse and theres no one to talk in taht moment to clear my question WebisteCommentsto get more contact in the class with computers at the time the instructor is teaching us an giving the examples to practice Pseudonym: bass5hartke Good_PointsThere was so much information to learn but I really enjoyed the Projects!! Bad_PointsThere were times that the lectures were really boring, but i understand that there was really nothing the prof could do to make it more interesting!!! :] There were too many questions to look at on the reviews! You couldn't concentrate on specific ones!! WebisteCommentsNarrow down on the questions that are available online for review and help narrow down what is expected on the exams!! Pseudonym: Napalm_R Good_PointsThe Best Part of the Course is the amount of extra credit we can get, and Dr.Kirs' walk, and the projects. Bad_PointsThe grades need to be posted sooner, also waiting till the end to get everything in did make it harder to get the work finished. WebisteCommentslike someone said before narrow down the review more, also typing in code instead of showing it on the slides helps more. Pseudonym: Computer Teck Man Good_PointsThe best part of the class was working on the projects. I learnd a lot from the programs. I like doing hands on stuff with the computer. Plus how you showed what some of the code look like for the projects. Bad_PointsI did not like the ending to the course because the class was falling behind and we where not up to date with the cource schedual. Everthing came due at the end and its hard to decide what to do. What ever happen too are seconed session of lab? WebisteCommentsThis course needs to stay on task with the couse schedual especally when it comes to the grades and the quizzes. Pseudonym: Pixelation Good_PointsI really liked aving the power point slides available before lectures. It makes it easier to take notes and pay attention instead of trying to write every single thing down and be clueless. Bad_PointsThe organization of the the website is just horrid. It needs a major over-haul! There's a lot of conflicting information as well as dead links. WebisteCommentsThis course could be improved tremendously if the class was taught in a computer lab. It would be very helpful to be able to see first hand how the things we're learning about are applied from the beginning of the class. One trip to the computer lab just wasn't enough. Pseudonym: ochoa11 Good_Pointswell teh best part of the course is taht everuthing is in the page, we can find the problems taht wil be on the test, and we can study very well. Bad_PointsThat all the class is in the classroom, I think we can understand better the program of C++ using the compurer and doing assignments there than theory. WebisteCommentsUsing the lab to understand the program. Pseudonym: penacho4 Good_PointsThe best part was be able to learn how to use the c++ programming. Bad_PointsFor me there wasnt any bad or ugly part of the course. WebisteCommentsTrying not to give a test in the last day of class in a semester.
