001.      How did databases originate?

 

After the North American's Rockwell's Moon Project in 1960, there was a problem of having too much data, about 60%, of which was repeated.  To improve on this problem, the GUAM method was developed so smaller parts of data can be combined into a larger part, ("modularization").
