Could be a little more organized about when the work is due. On the website it says by the last class of the week, but you've said due by the end of the week. Not too specific. It'd be great if we had our grades online and up to date.

The course assigments really assist with studying and keeping up with all class material. The assigments force the student to review all the material and prepare for the exams.

Additional lab time would be helpful during class time to properly visualize the programming concepts we are learning.

The website is not up to date. All we do in class is go over the slides and this sometimes gets boring.

I want a CIS course with actual computers, not just visiting the lab two times per semester. If we are in a computer lab classroom, we actually have hands on experience and the instructor available to help us while attempting to apply the concepts talked about in class. Why do think there is so much competition from competting schools such as Western Technical College, or so they call themselves a college. This is why so many students get frustated with going to Universities and then quit because all they talked about is theory. We need to do much better so that students are not getting pulled away by these TECH schools.

sometimes you go to fast as if we already knew the material and then I get a little lost and don't know what to ask when you say any questions.

You need to update this website because it has stuff from years back. Also, you should stick with the syllubes because I get confused sometimes on when homework needs to be turned in.

I honestly like the course overall. The topics covered are very interesting I’m learning quite a lot. There are things I had never heard about

I think what it would make the course better is that you slow down a little bit and explain in more detail the topics, also more hand on exercises will be helpful and of course if we where in a lab that will make a huge difference.

I enjoy working with c++ programming. I like watching the end results of all that hard work.

The information comes fast and furious. It takes several reviews of the material to grasp the concepts that are presented.

When doing tghe projects, all the c++ syntax was not presented in order to complete the projects. I had to do a lot of research on the internet to get the code to work right.

To me the best part of this course is that I'm finally doing some actual programming. All my other CIS courses so far have been mainly just term, definitions and flow charts. I did some programing in COBAL, but this is the first class where I've actually had to make programs using C++.

Bad_Points

The one bad part about this course is that the website isn't very user friendly, it is hard to find what you are looking for as well as assignments and information are hidden under links that you wouldn't expect them to be under.

I guess the only way to improve this course would be be just to organize and simplfy the course website some more, and to organize the class schedule page some more as well.
