this website helps people who are interested in learning about how to use information technologies and software to improve decision making. The target audience is IS professionals, IS students, managers interested in MIS and academics in MIS/DSS. It was made because Decision Support technology is evolving very rapidly. IT managers, IS students and academics face a difficult challenge to stay up-to-date about these changes and to make good, informed choices about building and maintaining systems to support decision making in organizations.

- This website gives the reader a very quick definition of what Decision Support Systems is, at the very beginning. Then it follows by also giving a brief of its history, about different classifications of taxonomies, architecture, development frameworks, applications and fanilly gives a list of the benefits of DSS. Overall, i though this website was kind of interesting however, i support the idea that the website needs some modifications as it is suggested by the page.

I was nice and organized and easy to find what kind of information you needed. It was packed with detail and history for decision support systems. Although it dragged on a bit, it still was a very helpful site.
- The study of decision support systems is an applied and uses knowledge and especially theory from other disciplines. This document traces decision support applications and research studies related to model and data-oriented systems, management expert systems, multidimensional data analysis, query and reporting tools. Knowledge-driven DSS can suggest or recommend actions to managers. This article was a good introduction to what is to come in the future. Overall this could be used to better understand what Decision Support Systems is.
