It start with 10,000 diseases and 4,000 drugs. They were stored on a server and it contains the most important medical textbooks, and scientific articles. These are indexed and searched by Autonomy's natural language processing software. For these reasons a lot of hospitals and physicians are adopting the system. Other way to implement the storage of data in an effective way is analyzing the data of the clinical outcomes. A good example is the way that The New Yorl City Health and Hospitals Corps aggregate it to its “Electrononic medical Records” EMRs. It includes 11 hospitals, four long term care facilities and more than 80 community clinics. This includes 1.3 millions of patients per year. This system was adopted about 15 years ago. This is an excellent way to implement the decision systems. And it is facilitating the medical diagnosis.
